I have never seen such a disorganized restaurant and staff. Dirty tables went unbused for 30 minutes even though the wait was 45 minutes to an hour. When the food was brought out it was wrong and cold. The manager went around socializing but did nothing to keep the restaurant running. We went Friday night the 4th of January 2013.

the napkins are made of gold i guess and its always WAY , WAY to loud the service is a joke charged for things didn't order this is strike 3 we'll never eat there again

I really liked the atmosphere of this place and their sauces are awesome. The actual wings were alright. Nothing out-of-this-world but pretty good wings just the same. Their sauce is what really makes the wings pop in your mouth. The service was fine. The wait time for the food wasn't too bad but it wasn't quick either. The staff was very friendly and was eager to help. I really appreciated that. I totally will come back.

Terrible!!! Don't waste your time. I have been to other BWW locations in several states and I know now why this place wasn't packed on a Friday night. To start, we waited for around 15 minutes till we were able to flag down a manager to find out who our server was. He was unsure but took our drink order. Another 10 to 15 minutes later 3 of us got drinks. While waiting our server shows up and wants to know if we want anything to drink...wow. So unorganized. All she had was excuse after excuse how she didn't start the table and didn't really know what was going on. The manager made a poor attempt at righting a wrong by sending over 2 chips and salsa for 9 adults, really? We ordered our food and when it came out it was wrong and only one person got their food. The rest of us waited for at least 10 minutes before any other food came out. We mentioned we had no silverware or napkins and said she would get some and be right back. A few more minutes go by and she stops real quick to ask if there is anything we need and again we asked for silverware, this time she followed through. Sad to say, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. There is lots of competition out there so don't make the same mistake we did. Go to Wing Nutz!

I really, really like the wings here. Crispy and delicious and lots of sauce and rub choices. I especially like the salt and vinegar rub just for a change of pace. That being said, it's kind of excruciating to come here. The service is always ridiculously slow and I feel sort of forgotten. I get it, wings are pretty low maintenance as far as dining goes, but I do like my drink refilled in a timely manner, especially when eating spicy wings.

I really like the wings and all the different sauces to choose from but service is pretty terrible. We came on a Tuesday for a birthday dinner and the server just forgot us from the start. It was even hard to get her attention so we could get our check to leave. I'll give them a try again, maybe mid-afternoon when the place is slower.

  • Amanda W.

Great food, but our order and service gets goofed about every time we go. 6 adults and 1 kid were once forgotten about for an hour and half. We continuously let people know we had no server with no change.

  • Drew F.

I do not know what happened to this place but somehow the food has changed. The wings are less crispy and the sauces have been off from establishment to establishment. I have all but stopped going their all together because they have become unreliable in quality and taste.

Been here since 5:10 pm and STLL do not have our food at 6:00 pm. Service is always good but the kitchen needs to pull their heads out of their asses!!!! I'm about ready to walk!!!! After our order finally came at 6:10 pm it was wrong. When the manager was notified he came to our table and said "what's wrong with your order?" Wtf? Not I'm sorry? How can I help? Poor, poor, poor, management!!!!

I certainly hope this is just a Utah issue...but the service and management are horrendous at Buffalo Wild Wings in South Jordan. The food is what you'd expect, which is chain restaurant food - nothing special, pretty consistent. However, when service and an inadequate management team are in the front of the house....doesn't matter what the food tastes like. What a huge disappointment! Will not be back to this location. If service matters to you, try another location!

I had been excited to try this place as it was opening up near me & then bummed to see so many negative reviews. I've now been 3xs (2 eat in & one take out) and think maybe they've got the kinks worked out? One trip of mine was on a very busy March madness basketball game Friday night & even tho we had to wait, the service was great from the hostesses & then our waitress. She was knowledgable about the menu & let us try a few sauces so we knew what we wanted. The boneless wings are excellent!

Mango habanero, Asian zing and salt and pepper wings are amazing. Tuesday traditional and Thursday boneless wings are promotional days.

Went there last night, I am a pretty big fan of BWW. This experience was like most, the food was good, but its wings, how can you screw that up? It was probably a bit louder than it needed to be. BUT they nailed it with having EVERY game on, from basketball to hockey, rugby to tennis. Its for sure the place to go to watch some sports. Our waitress, was my biggest problem, she had a bit of an attitude and was trying to be funny and sassy, but it wasn't received well and she just came off as a bi..well you get it, So that was frustrating. But all in all, it was a night out that cost $20 for food I wasn't willing to make at home. Would I recommend coming here? Not for no reason, for a sports event. YES

I've been to a handful of these restaurants all across the country. They're never the best wings that I've had, but they're sauce selection is pretty good. I ordered take out from this one and was thoroughly disappointed. The wings were SUPER soggy, bordering on cold (and no I didn't get there super late, I got there 10 mins after I put the order in) and the order was weird. We ordered three types of sauces. We got a TON of wings with one sauce, a decent amount with another and then 4 sad soggy wings with hot BBQ. I'm not sure what happened or why these wings were so gross. I was unimpressed. There have got to be better wings around this area :/

I love when a restaurant provides choices for the customer. A restaurant that presents me with tons of options and ways to customize my experience earns many more points than one that has a "we are what we are" mentality. That's what I love about Buffalo Wild Wings. Options abound when you walk into BDubs. From the beginning of your visit, you're presented with choices. For the benefit of those who've not yet dined at BDubs, I'll try to outline what the choices mean. Choice: Would you like to eat in the dining room, in the bar/lounge, or out on the patio? Dining Room: Provides the sensory assault of 47 TV's within sight, allowing you to choose sports, sports, sports, sports, poker, trivia, or sports. You can choose to drool and stare at gigantic projection screens that are out of focus, or high-def mini screens that are too far away. Music is also provided to further cripple your ability to communicate with the other people at your table. This provides you an opportunity to practice the valuable skill of shouting without sounding mad. Bar: Identical to dining room, but the tables and chairs are raised 24 inches. Outdoor Patio: Metal grate tables that are impossible to clean without a Dumbo-sized basin full of bleach, so they come with a menagerie of gum, old wing sauce, and ranch residue caked in each hole and under the edges. There are only 23 TV's on the patio, so if you want to watch Sportscenter on more than 8 screens simultaneously, indoor is the better option. The outside seating area is much quieter, which allows you to hear your companions. This is good, because you will be provided much more time to enjoy their company. The policy apparently is to take 1.8 times as long to bring the first part of your order out. In the first run, they bring out 100% of the food for 60% of the people, 40% of the food for 20% of the people, and 0% of the food for the other 20% of the people. The rest of the food comes later. Maybe. The distance from the kitchen also allows you to observe and experience the effects of extended heat lamp exposure on fried foods that have been tossed in a sugar-based glaze. Spoiler: The chicken turns to jerky, and the glaze evaporates, leaving your chicken semi-coated in a tacky substance that is the consistency of maple syrup that you spilled on the counter and then left for six hours. The transit time and forgetfulness of your high-school-aged waitress makes sure your food is neither so hot that it burns you, nor so warm that you enjoy eating it. Next Choice: Would you like your wings boneless, or traditional? Boneless: More expensive. Chunks of white-meat-mostly chicken, coated in fried breading that dominates each bite. Traditional: Less expensive. Composed of the following: 60% bone, 30% threads of dried-out chicken meat, and 10% gristle/tendon/wtfwasthatijustate? Provides the benefit of being able to challenge the gender/sexual orientation of all males who ordered boneless wings. Next Choice: Sauced or dry rub? Sauce: Duh Dry Rub: You're an idiot Next Choice: Flavors? You have to get a minimum of four wings of each flavor, but no one ever seems to order in anything other than multiples of five. If you ordered boneless, you can order the flavorless pain-feed that is Blazin', and thereby regain the "man card" your "friends" made up to insult you. Mango Habanero has a good flavor, and also gives you the chance, the next day, to experience what it would feel like to be sodomized by a curling iron. Mild, Medium, and Hot are the three levels of normal buffalo wing sauce. There are weird permutations on garlic and barbecue sauces, as well as caribbean jerk style, asian style (my preference), and handfuls of others. Next Choice: Next time I want wings, do I come here, or do I just make them at home? Here: See above. Home: Gosh, you'd have to buy wings, and sauces. And don't you have to like trim and separate the sections? And how do you cook wings? Do you like, fry them? Or bake them? Or boil them? Wait, 60-cent wings at BDubs on Tuesdays? Is that cheap? Didn't they used to be 50-cents? Aw, eff it, let's just go there. At least we'll have something to complain about on the way home.

Awful! The food was barely edible, music and the sports are so loud you can't even talk to your peers, and the service was horrendous! I ordered the boneless wings with the sweet BBQ sauce, wasn't craving anything spicy, and they were either extremely soggy or dry. My mother had the house salad, as for there was no menu for people with allergies, and she complained of a foul odor and filthy taste. When most people go to resturaunt they want to socialize. In this Buffalo Wild Wings, the volume is so loud that you can't even hear the people around you. It is also so loud that our waiter had to lean in so much to hear our orders! And the service isn't the greatest. It is slow, and unorganised. Seemed like they didn't care about what they work for. Most of them just sat and stood around not being productive in the slightest.

Where to start? We first arrived at BWW at a little past 8 and I already knew it was going to be a less than great experience. We walked through the doors and there was already 3 parties in front of us and we were advised that it would be about a 15-20 minute wait. Mind you, there were at least 5 tables opened. But nevertheless we were eventually seated. The waitress came by and said she would be right with us. Five minutes later she came back to take our drink order. She returned another five minutes after that and brought our drinks and took our food order. I was with my girlfriend and we ordered a medium order of wings and I had myself a Jack Daddy Burger. Overall the meal was decent and lived up to my expectations of a "fast food" restaurant. However the waitress took her time and did not once come back to our table to offer a refill on our drinks or even ask us if there was anything else we needed. Eventually we just had to stop her in her tracks to ask for the bill. I would go back but only if I had a different server.

Buffalo Wild Wings or "B-Dubs" as it's known to its friends, definitely is one of those places it's easy to love or hate, which accounts for the mixed reviews most of these wings/sports-bar places tend to get. I think it's important for anyone to realize that these places are loud, often over the top and can get very busy and are not for everyone. However, if you like this kind of place, I think you'll love this particular chain over other options if for no other reason the food is great. The wings are amazing, and the selection of sauces and rubs just out of this world. If you like hot (as I do), Blazing Sauce is for you, and quite honestly I now consider B-Dubs as an alternative therapy when it comes to colon cleansing. There is nothing that beats this place. But seriously all the food is good, and there's enough variety that there is something for everyone, including those who don't like things quite as spicy. They have everything from mild, sweet, zesty and tangy through to "holy crap, call the fire department, we've got a fire in the hole". If I had any complaints about this place it is firstly, it's too expensive. Not enough to stop me coming, but enough to stop me going 4 times in a week (which is the current record for lunch outings from work at another B-Dubs location). Probably a good thing since medicines, alternative or not, are best used in moderation. My second gripe is they recently changed from a price per number of wings to a price per weight of wings model. It just means the total number of wings varies (slightly) from visit to visit - it just bugs me and makes ordering just slightly more complex than it once was. This is a restaurant, not an aircraft. If the center of gravity is off I don't think the foundations will fail (they might if I visit the bathroom, but that's another issue). It just reeks of penny pinching in case you get a random "big" wing, not like that doesn't average out over time. This location is also more cramped than say the West Valley one. Even the servers struggle with it even when it's not super busy. Ultimately though, I'm going to judge by the food, and it's great. And I'm glad to have one of these near home. So this gets a 4 star as do my other B-Dubs reviews, but only just, 3 1/2 would be more appropriate, but Yelp makes us review in exact 16oz increments!

This is the most underwhelming store I've had in all the ones I've been in in 10 years and 6 states. Be sure to check your order, keep them accountable. Today, I ordered boneless wings to go, and got bone in wings. When I told the staff that, they assured me I would get fresh boneless wings. Instead, I was given cold wings. While I was waiting, I asked if I could have new fresh fries since mine got cold waiting... And they told me no! Not a good way to earn business!

The wings and sauces are pretty good. The service is horrible. We have been to multiple locations at least 5 times or more in the past 6 months and every single time the waiters/waitresses gave bad service. Food doesn't always come out right, checks were incorrect, slow service, inattentive, etc. Also way too loud. We only go back for the food.

I love this place. I can order before the open and have my food and be out the door when they open. For years I wished for this place to come to Utah. I'll keep coming for wing Tuesday.

  • Jessie M.

They wouldn't take a U.S. Permanent Resident card as an official form of I.D.; according to their manager's interpretation of the law, it's against Utah state law. Weird because ALL the STATE's liquor stores and ALL other 21+facilities take it. DMV, TSA takes it, border patrol takes it, FBI, police, CIA, everybody...but not this Buffalo Wild Wings location because apparently their manager is a lawyer with extensive knowledge of the law and a judge who can interpret it regardless precedent or acceptance by all other places in the STATE of UTAH; which, by the way, he claims are ALL wrong and shouldn't take it. Only he understands the law. I've never felt discriminated against except for at this place. it wasn't even about getting a drink. The principle is just wrong. The kicker is they accepted someone else's fake driver's license (one that looked very fake at that!) BUT, no, you can't take a green card...God forbid it's fake...since all Hispanics do that, RIGHT?

This review is solely based on my visit to this place on January 3rd, 2012. The place was packed, it was cold cold cold col outside, and literally there were no parking spots. like... 0. like... i wanna cut a afbhjdskf. the wait period? hour to hour and a half. The crowd? i think the people waiting were all upset, and the others didn't wanna leave because it was too cold outside. We got the wings to go, and life was finally solved. I love BWW though, don't get me wrong, it was quite shocking to see NO PARKING SPOTS available for about 10 minutes driving around.

I am a huge fan of buffalo wild wings and if I were to rate the flavors of the sauces/wings it would be 5 stars all the way. This was my first time going to this location and I opted to get takeout rather than dine in. The minute I walked into the place I was very pleased that I would only be staying there a few minutes. The whole place was a madhouse (I understand that it was a Sunday during the NFL playoffs but still). There was so much noise that I could barely complete the transaction with the cashier. There were people standing everywhere and I could hardly wade through the masses of people. Also it was uncomfortably warm inside as well. I was so anxious to just get out of there with my food. The service was slow and the food was barely warm when I finally ate.

Worst celery & carrots - I made them replace them once as the ends were brown and discolored and the new ones were also old and nasty so I threw them. NASTY - how do you screw up carrots and celery for crying out loud?

I am not typically a fan of large chains like this, but I had heard good things and so decided to give it a shot. it was very loud and very open, both things that I am not a fan of. the food was good and for that reason I would go back. the servers were all polite and attentive. I would recommend to all and if you want to watch a sporting event this seems like a decent place to do so.

I don't like wings. But I go here with coworkers who do love wings, there isn't much on the menu besides wings, and what is there isn't very good. The burgers are preformed frozen masses dressed up to look fancy. The music is always too loud for any type of social dining.

PRESENTATION: Tv's were everywhere and the place was filled with people! TASTE: I love wingers because of their wings and now I heard that buffalo wild wings are theeee best. So I had to check it out and lets say Tuesdays are the .68 cents day and its the traditional wing that has the bones in and every 4 piece you get, you get to a choose a sauce. I liked the honey bbq and the jammin jalapeno; those were the most fav so far. We got potatoe wedges and buffalo chips mm the buffalo chips were good. SERVICE: Our server that had to challenege 18 ppl was hard, he messed up a little but was very apologetic and nice. I walked out of that restaurant full and happy. VALUE: A really good price!

I've only been during the lunch wing specials, and I don't expect you can do better for awesome wings with tons of different sauces. I'm working my way down the list of sauces each visit, from mildest to hottest. Each I've had so far has great flavor. The service is also first rate, full of helpful advice, prompt drink refills, and quick cooked food.

I went with a large group of folks Friday afternoon. While my food was okay, I never did get a refill on my water. Super slow service and we had to ask several times to get anything. One person didn't even get their food until the rest of us were finishing up. This was especially bad since I got there a good 15 minutes later than the rest and still got my food before he got his. The fact that they had a whole bunch of people hanging around the entrance greeting people and telling them goodbye, yet we had one waitress for a table of 13 really tells me they don't really care that much about taking care of their customer and are relying on the quality of the food to keep people returning. I won't be returning because I'm pretty sure I can get better quality in the the freezer section of my grocery store and I provide MUCH better service.

My visit was during their off peak hours on 60 cent Tuesday, so service was nice and efficient and the best part... inexpensive! I typically can only eat 6-8 wings, and the regular price for 6 is $5.99. All of the sauces I've tried have been really good. My favorites are Wild (really spicy buffalo) and Parmesan Garlic. Not a fan of the dry seasonings though--too bland. We sat in the bar area which I like because it's open seating, and they have a lot more TV's and a huge projector screen showing the latest sports.

60 cent wings on tuesdays and 60 cent boneless wings on thursdays so cant complain. Gonna try the buffalo wild wings challenge (12 blazing hot wings in 6 minutes) in the future. wings and lemonade are good. the waitress sat down while taking our order so it was really casual and fast too. we got our orders within minutes after we ordered so that was nice. ill come back for sure.

I went to this place with my friend last night. I have heard great things about it from everyone so I was excited to be going! The place was packed and we were told it would be a 45 minute wait, however it only took about 6 minutes to be seated. My food was great. I ordered the big jack daddy burger which was surprisingly delicious since it sounded kind of gross (pulled pork on a hamburger) I also ordered wings. My wings didn't come until I was about finished leaving and ready to leave. This place loses three stars however because my waiter was rude to me. When ordering food he sat down in my booth with me to suggest things on the menu which i found strange. He not only called me expensive when he brought me my bill but then when I asked for a box for my wings he told me I was high maintenance. I think I should be able to order as much food as i'de like, I'm a paying customer and it isn't like I was on a date being expensive, I was there paying for myself. I nearly forgot my box when leaving and my waiter called after me "you are going to forget your box after all the trouble you put me through". Also the "captain" who brought us sauces to try said some people's first impressions of the place is kind of "shitty" when I told him the place seemed good to me so far. I thought that was very unprofessional language coming from the worker. Bottom line, I would order their food again, but only if I am picking it up and taking it out.

Went on fight night brother, it made me want to get in the ring and kick the manager's @$$. We waited years to be seated, months for our waitress to acknowledge us, weeks for her to take our order, days for the order to arrive, and then right as the taste was about to hit our face, (KER-PLOW!!!) our food fell on the floor. I was so hungry that I would have eaten it off the floor, but they just took it away... Then it took another month for the food to arrive. If I was eating with my eyes before my mouth I would have threw my food at the big screen TV, but I was hungry, so I ate it all up and then waited hours for the check to arrive and nothing was done to remedy our situation, even after we were told that we would be "taken care of." Here is a chance to totally redeem yourself Wild Wings! I am going to take care of you once and for all, I challenge you to a rematch and your paying brother! Pros: Loud and gets your blood boiling for some action! Cons: Everything that that restaurant stands for, especially portions. Get drunk before you arrive and you may have a killer experience!

    (1)
  • Ana S.

I'm sure the food was good, if my appetite had not been spoiled by a fighting match with two sweaty men beating the pulp out each other, which was broadcasted on almost every flatscreen in the restaurant. Because what could be more appetizing than blood splatters and grunts of pain? Not only that, but I was fortunate enough to get to watch almost the ENTIRE match before my food was ready! In fact, I didn't even mind that I was late for work. Next time, I'll just plan on three hours for lunch, and maybe then I won't even be late!

Been here several times. Okay place for a beer and a game, but the service is extremely slow, especially for Saturday lunch time. After today's visit, I couldn't take it and had to get the word out. Ordered a side salad -came with wilty and dry lettuce and veggies like it was prepared and held for a few days before serving. The wings are just so-so, with inconsistent amounts of sauce and the ratio of drumettes to the other part (you know, the wing stub nobody likes to get stuck with after drumettes are taken) is usually 1 to 3.

Huge fan of b dubs! Asian zing and Parmesan garlic are my faves. Service is kinda slow but I usually go on boneless Thursdays so that's expected! Will always come back.

Went in for lunch today and had a great experience. Food was out very quickly and I was never in need of a drink refill. My only complaint is that it is loud. I understand when it's busy or there are games, however, it was slow and no live sports. It didn't affect my experience negatively, just being a little critical.

    (5)
  • Lance C.

"B-Dubs" always provides a sub-par experience. Drinks are always slow to come out or be refilled (especially anything with alcohol in it). There is always someone at our table that doesn't get part of their order (we actually had to talk to the manager to get an order out last time). They have 3-5 people hanging out at the door to greet you, but too few people working their tables to refill drinks and check on customers. ... and all of this for wings that are really nothing special. I had the same experience at the Lehi location, so it seem to be a plague with the Utah franchise. On top of all of this... employees from this SJ location went to my local bar and grill in Daybreak to hand out coupons for the B-Dubs opening. It's the WalMart of wing shops trying shut down the local joints. B-Dubs: you are dead to me.

    (1)
  • Zack H.

Well...Drinks were slow. No refilles. Food came out missing "celery and carrot" portion for all of the 13 people were on the table. Somebody had to ask if the wings come with celery in order for realize it was missing from the plates. I had to ask 5 times which took at least 10 to 15 mins , and called the manager on my last attempt to get the dressings and souces . There was only one person working the table for a group of 13 people at lunch time. On the other hand there were around 3 people hanging out at the door taking you into the resturant. Overall it took us almost 2 hrs for LUNCH !!! I don't think I want to waste another 2 hrs at this place again..

I ordered 12 of the boneless wings for takeout on a Thursday night when they run a promo on them. I tried 6 with the Mango Habanero sauce and 6 with the Thai Curry. In general, I didn't care for their boneless wings - it was more like breaded chicken nugget. I thought the Mango Habanero sauce had good flavor and did have some heat, but I really didn't care for the Thai Curry at all. I ordered some potato wedges with the dessert heat rub which was probably the best part of the meal. I wish BWW good luck, but I think I'll continue my search for better wings in the south end of the valley than return to this location.

We've been here several times. We generally like the food. But there have been service issues during most visits . At first, we were forgiving since this location had just opened. Now, it's just apparent that quality service isn't a high priority. The staff just isn't very attentive. I don't know of it's poor training, poor management, or some kind of laid back attitude coming from corporate. A fish rots from the head down, as they say. Case in point, our last visit. We show up late (after 10pm) on Sunday. Restaurant is about 20% full. We waited a half an hour for our food...wings and fries. Finally the manager comes out and informs us that it was late because the guy that was cooking it decided to go on break. Apparently no one bothered to cover. That was a first, but the usual problems are service staff who are chatting amongst themselves more than taking care of you, empty drinks, hard selling the promotion items, etc. Also, don't bother complaining about the noise level. BWW is insistent that ear bleeding is part of the authentic BWW experience. Tried and failed. I thought that once BWW came to the area that Wing Nutz would be of no use to us. I actually appreciate Wing Nutz more now.

I went on a weeknight about 10pm so it wasn't too busy, and the food was great!

The wings are great. The service is good but the buildings here are way too small. The Buffalo WW buildings in other states are at least twice the size. I doubt I'll go again in Utah unless I want to wait an hour or go after 9:00 pm.

I eat at BWW's across the country and I am soooo happy to say that last night I had my best experience to date...and it was at my very own hometown BWW in south jordan, Utah!!! Brought a party of 9 for our first visit here since the opening so they had their work cut out for them. We started at the bar as there was a 45 minute wait for a table (new years bowl games, no doubt). Andre was our server. He was friendly, cool and on it! 25 minites later, our table was ready. Kia was our waitress and she was great, too. Large orders, multiple wing orders as the night went on. The Buzztimes games were all charged for our poker play. The food was hot, on time and most importantly, the wings were not greasy! Recap...food just right, servers were smiling and capable, buzztimes charged and ready for sustained action and the cherry on top was the rest of the servers were all smiling too any time you made eye contact.....thanks Sojo BWW for doing everything well. Cant wait to get back in town for another visit.

Food is good. Not stellar but good. We sat outside and 4 times people came out with trays of food and they didn't know where they went. A couple of times it ended up going back in the building!! It took someone 15 minutes to even acknowledge that we were there! The lady who brought out our food seriously walked by our table with it 3 times!! We received our silverware like 10 minutes after we got our food. Poor execution and leadership at this location.
